Police are appealing for witnesses after a car failed to stop following a collision with a pedestrian in Wraysbury.

At around 10.10pm on the 17th of October, a small black car collided with a man at the junction of Welley Road and Welley Avenue.

The vehicle was travelling northbound on Welley Road towards Datchet Road when it was involved in the collision and did not stop at the scene.

The vehicle then turned around in Welley Avenue before heading southbound towards Wraysbury.

The victim sustained serious injuries and required hospital treatment but has since been discharged.

The only available descriptions at this time are that the driver and front passenger of the car were Asian males and there was possibly an Indian flag hanging from the rear view mirror of the car.

Investigating officer PC Nicole Maynard said: “We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision or the black vehicle and its occupants either at the time or immediately afterwards.

“If you were driving around this area during this time or after and may have dash cam footage, please contact us.

"If you live locally and have video doorbell or CCTV footage, please come forward."
