Work on woodland restoration project near Basingstoke underway

Work on a woodland restoration project near Basingstoke has begun.

More than eight hundred native tree saplings are being planted at the Crabtree and Dickens Lane plantations near the Bolton Arch in Old Basing.

They'll replace dead and dying ash affected by dieback and around 30% of the sycamores in the area.
