Woman seriously injured in west Berkshire car crash

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision on the A34.

At around 3pm on Sunday (26/1) a silver Porsche has been travelling on the A34 Southbound just after the East Ilsley junction.

The vehicle has swerved across both lanes of the carriageway and came to rest at the bottom of the embankment.

The driver, a man in his fifties, suffered minor injuries; a woman in her fifties, who was the passenger, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Investigation

PC Shaun Kipling of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said:

“We are carrying out an investigation following this collision in which a woman was seriously injured.

“We are appealing for witnesses who were on the A34 at this busy time of the day.

“Anyone with information or dash-cam footage is asked to get in touch by calling 101 or by contacting us through our online form quoting reference 43250042081”.
