Two teenagers charged with assault in Reading

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with an assault in Reading.

A 17-year-old boy from Reading has been charged with one count each of Section 18 wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article on school/further education premises.

A 16-year-old boy, also from Reading, has been charged with assault by beating.

The charges relate to an incident that occurred on Thursday on Kings Road, Reading.

The victim, who is in his late teens, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and has since been discharged from hospital.

Both boys appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court and were released on conditional court bail.
