Two men charged with attempted murder in Slough
Two men have been charged with attempted murder in Slough.
Police say it's after a firearms incident last Friday (19/6).
A Police statement said:
"Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, two men have been charged with attempted murder in Slough.
"Kian Rahelu, aged 20, from Slough, was charged yesterday (26/6), with one count each of; attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
"Lenny Morten, aged 19, from Slough, was charged today (27/6) with one count each of; attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life."
The charge is in relation to a firearms incident in the area of Pentland Road and Pennine Road last Friday (19/6).
Both Rahelu and Moreton, have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 27 July.
Detective Inspector Gemma Mulcaster said: “We understand that incidents involving firearms will cause concern within the local community.
“Following a thorough investigation, we have now charged two individuals in connection with this incident.
“We would like to reassure the public that we are committed to tackling serious violence and bringing offenders to justice.
“Our enquiries remain ongoing and we would still urge anyone who has information, but has not yet come forward, to please contact Thames Valley Police.”
