Detectives have been looking into various allegations
Two men from London and one from Berkshire have been charged in connection with an investigation into organised immigration crime.
The details have been revealed by the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU).
Iqbal Khokhar, 58, from Slough, faces charges related to conspiracy to breach UK immigration laws and possession or control of identity documents with intent.
Iljit Chopra, 49, of Brentford, has been charged with conspiracy to breach UK immigration laws.
Adil Khan, 41, from Newham, is charged with involvement in the acquisition, retention, use, or control of criminal property.
The charges, authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), were made yesterday as part of a wider investigation led by SEROCU into the alleged unlawful entry of hundreds of migrants into the UK.
The investigation is supported by the Metropolitan Police Service and Thames Valley Police.
These men appeared at East Berkshire Magistrates’ Court today, where they were remanded and are set to appear at the Crown Court on a date still to be determined.
Detective Chief Superintendent Steve Boniface, Head of SEROCU, highlighted the international collaboration from partners in countries including Italy, Austria, and Spain, as well as Europol and the National Crime Agency.
Deputy Chief Constable Wendy Gunney emphasised the complexity and international scope of organised immigration crime, noting the UK's strengthened response to these threats.
The investigation remains ongoing, with another suspect still in custody.
