Four teenagers arrested over robbery in Basingstoke

Hampshire Police have arrested four teenagers in connection with a robbery in Basingstoke, where a man in his 30s was assaulted after being asked for a cigarette.

The incident happened on Oakridge Road at around 8pm on 19th March, when the victim sustained cuts, bruises, and a black eye.

Following an investigation, officers have arrested an 18-year-old man, two 17-year-old boys, and a 14-year-old boy, all from Basingstoke, on suspicion of robbery.

The teenagers have been bailed with conditions as further enquiries are underway.
