Teenage girl injured after group assault in Reading
Thames Valley Police are asking witnesses to share information
Thames Valley Police are seeking witnesses to an assault involving two groups of girls in Reading.
At around 6.50pm on Saturday 10th January, a group of girls exited the Oracle shopping centre onto Minster Street.
They were confronted by another group of girls, who asked them what they were looking at before launching an attack.
The victim, a girl in her teens, suffered minor injuries and received treatment on-site.
The offenders are described as a mixed group of white and black girls.
Investigating officer PC James Dennings said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw this assault or the moments leading up to it.
