Teenage boy charged with Reading murder

Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit has charged a boy with murder and possession of an offensive weapon, after the fatal stabbing of a man in Reading on Saturday 23 May.

A 16 year-old boy, from Reading, has been charged with one count each of murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

He is due to appear in Reading magistrates court today (28/5).

The two teenage boys from Reading, who were arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday (27/5), both remain in custody at this time,
