Slough man jailed for drugs and firearms offences
A court heard Hasan Ali discharged a firearm at a man in his 20s in Chalvey High Street in June 2023.

A man from Slough has been jailed for six years for drugs and firearms offences.
Hasan Ali, 28, from Keel Drive, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Thursday 30 April after being found guilty by a unanimous jury verdict to one count each of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession with intent to supply class B drugs, namely cannabis.
Ali discharged an imitation firearm at a man in his twenties in Chalvey High Street on 4 June 2023. The victim was not injured in this incident.
When arrested, Ali was with Sachin Aery and they were both in possession of a quantity of class B drugs, namely cannabis, with an estimated street value of £4,500.
Sachin Aery, aged 25, of Keel Drive, Slough, was also found guilty by unanimous jury verdict to one count of possession with intent to supply class B drugs, namely cannabis.
Aery was sentenced to nine months custodial sentence that was suspended for two years.
Investigating officer Sergeant Daniel May said, “This was an extremely serious incident which could easily have resulted in someone being seriously injured or worse. The use of an imitation firearm in a public place to threaten violence will not be tolerated, and neither will the supply of drugs within our communities.
“This sentence reflects the significant risk that Hasan Ali posed to the public through his actions.
“We will continue to take robust action against those who carry weapons or deal drugs and bring them before the courts.”
