Police seek witnesses after teenager injured in Reading traffic collision
Appeal for dash-cam footage following collision at Berkley Avenue
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision in Reading left a 17-year-old boy hospitalised.
The incident occurred around 3pm on 2nd August at the traffic light-controlled junction involving Berkley Avenue, Pell Street, Elgar Road, and Katesgrove Lane.
A silver Kia Picanto collided with a black e-bike.
The e-bike rider suffered a serious head injury and is receiving treatment in hospital.
PC Jamie Payne from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit is spearheading the investigation.
"We are carrying out a thorough investigation into this collision and I am appealing to anybody who witnessed what happened to please get in touch," PC Payne said.
"I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the collision and may have dash-cam footage that captured the incident, or the moments leading up to it."
"Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be vital to our investigation."
