An 18-year-old man has been charged with multiple serious offences following a stabbing in Reading.

Nathan Cisse, of Glebe Road, Hayes, London, was arrested yesterday (28 July) and charged today (29 July) by Thames Valley Police.

He faces one count grievous bodily harm, two counts of possession of a bladed article in a public place, and one count each of possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine.

The charges relate to an incident on Bridge Street, near The Oracle shopping centre, in which a teenage boy was stabbed, on Sunday (27 July).

The victim required hospital treatment but has since been discharged.
