A man from Reading has denied charges of posting terrorist videos to social media in court.

Oliver Machin, 24, from Tilehurst in Reading, appeared before Winchester Crown Court on Friday (October 23rd) facing three charges of disseminating a terrorist publication.

The videos he is accused of posting include videos called “This is a call to action” on X, formerly Twitter, on October 30th, 2024.

A further video titled “White terror” on X was also allegedly shared on November 16th and 18th, 2024.

Machin has pleaded not guilty to the charges he is now facing.

Judge Christopher Parker KC adjourned the case for a trial to take place on April 26th, 2027, and released the defendant on bail until a further preliminary hearing on January 29th.
