Former CEO in legal row with Reading FC
Nigel Howe has reportedly issued a winding up order against the club
Reading football club has confirmed its in a legal dispute with former Chief Executive Nigel Howe.
It's been reported in national newspapers that Mr Howe is seeking a winding up order against the club.
He'd been tasked with overseeing the sale of the club under the previous owner.
A spokesperson for Reading Football Club said:
"Reading Football Club confirms that it is in an ongoing dispute with Mr Nigel Howe. The Club denies any claims made against it.
"Given the ongoing dispute and potential legal proceedings, the Club will not be making any further comment at this time."
