The future of Reading football club could be come a little clearer as the EFL meet to discuss the crisis surrounding the club.

Owner Dai Yongge has been disqualified and ordered to sell the club by April 5.

The club will be hoping it's done enough to prove to the EFL that the sale process is making progress - if they can't the league could suspend the club from playing further games.

Most believe the EFL will extend their deadline enabling the club to continue for now.

But the sale process is still bogged down in a complicated legal dispute with Rob Couhig - who believed at one stage he was hours away from purchasing the club. He holds securities on the ground and training complex and says he won't go away until he's paid compensation.

In reality he could be the only person able to save the club - and he continues to watch from the sidelines waiting to see how this saga plays out.

Couhig was the former owner of Wycombe and Reading's next game (if they're able to play it) will be against Wycombe.

Fans are making a big effort to fill the stadium on Saturday - they'll be hoping it's not a last goodbye.
