Four arrests in Reading drug raids
Police carried out early morning raids on six addresses
At around 6am, yesterday (16/7), Thames Valley Police officers, including officers from Serious and Organised Crime Unit, in collaboration with the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit Disruptions Team and Border Force, carried out warrants at a number of addresses in the Reading area, under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
As a part of Thursday's operation, officers targeted six addresses and seized class A and class B drugs. They also seized cash, electronic devices and offensive weapons.
As a result of this work, our officers made four arrests.
Three people have since been charged with multiple offences including conspiracy to supply class A drugs, namely cocaine, conspiracy to supply class B drugs, namely cannabis, possession of criminal property, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence, driving without insurance and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
A fourth person has been charged with one count each of Section 18 wounding and affray, in relation to an incident on 3 October 2025 at the Palmer Tavern, Reading.
All four have been remanded in custody.
