Proactive stop leads to man being charged with a drugs offence in Basingstoke

A proactive stop has seen a man charged with a drugs offence in Basingstoke.

A silver Mercedes Benz on the A30 near the Hackwood Road Roundabout was pulled over.

They located and seized 18 bags of suspected Class A drugs and £380 in cash.

29 year-old Gentjan Ndosha, of Bassett Green Close, Southampton, was charged with possessing with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.

He was also charged with driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance.

He is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on 29 October.
