Police appeal for witnesses following Slough firearms incident
Investigation underway with reassurance given to the community
Thames Valley Police are seeking witnesses following a firearms incident in Slough that took place around 5.50pm on 5th June.
The incident occurred on Earls Lane, where a group of men walking in the area encountered gunfire reportedly discharged from a blue vehicle travelling from Moor Furlong.
Reports suggest that a pedestrian within the group also possessed a firearm and returned fire at the vehicle's occupants.
Both groups fled the scene, and fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
The suspects are described as young men dressed in tracksuits and balaclavas.
Detective Inspector Simon Reid addressed community concerns, stating, "I understand that this may cause concern in the local community but I want to reassure you that we are investigating this as a priority.
"We believe that there is no wider threat to the public and will have an increased police presence in the area today.
"If you have any concerns or questions, please speak with a uniformed officer.
"I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or the moments surrounding it.
"If you saw the four men running or a blue vehicle driving at speed in this area, please contact us."
