Police release e-fit in search for man after exposure incident in Winkfield
Appeal for information following indecent act near The Hatchet Inn
Thames Valley Police have released an e-fit image of a man they are looking to speak to in connection with an exposure incident in Winkfield, East Berkshire.
The incident occurred around 11.30am on Thursday, 14th May, as a teenage girl got off a bus near the junction of Lovel Road and walked towards Hatchet Lane.
While near The Hatchet Inn, a small red Vauxhall Corsa stopped close to her.
The driver gestured her towards the vehicle and then exposed himself while carrying out an indecent act.
The car then drove off in the direction of Mounts Hill.
The man depicted in the e-fit is described as white, in his sixties, very slim, with pale skin, grey-white hair, blue eyes, and pale lips.
He was wearing a navy-blue long-sleeved shirt with a light blue sweater, vest, or gilet over it, and black work trousers.
The vehicle is identified as an older model red Vauxhall Corsa with a black dashboard and seats.
No arrests have been made yet.
Investigating officer PC Neve O’Hara has appealed for public assistance.
"We are releasing this e-fit image as we believe it could help us identify the man we would like to speak to in connection with this incident," PC O’Hara said.
"I urge anyone who recognises the man depicted in the image, or who believes they may know who he is, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police."
PC O’Hara continued, "I also ask anyone who was in the Hatchet Lane area at that time and may have seen this man or the described vehicle, or who has CCTV, dash-cam, or doorbell footage that could assist our investigation, to come forward."
