Police appeal to find man wanted in connection with assault

A man is being searched for by police in connection with an assault of a woman in Berkshire.

24 year-old Jack Williams, is wanted in connection with an assault in High Street, Crowthorne, which happened just after midnight on New Year’s Day this year.

A 21-year-old woman was put in a headlock and dragged to the floor by an offender.

Investigating officer, PC Daniel Scott said: “This was a violent assault which left the victim with head and facial injuries.

“We are seeking Jack Williams in connection with this incident and are asking for the public’s help to find him.

“If you see Williams do not approach him, instead call 999."
