Boy sexually assaulted in Reading

Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Reading.

At around 1.45pm on Friday (4 April) a boy was walking along London Road in Earley when a man approached him and showed him a picture before touching the victim inappropriately over their clothes.

The offender is described as an Asian man in his late forties or early fifties with white hair and a long white beard.

He had a wide build and was around 5ft 8ins tall.

The offender was wearing a long light blue top and a short jacket.

Investigating officer PC Danielle Adams said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed what happened to please contact us.

I would particularly like to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam footage, which may have captured the incident.
