If you walk your dog in Windsor Great Park, there are some new rules to follow.

The popular walk, which borders Surrey, has issued a new code of conduct for canine owners using the space.

From the 25th of February, people cannot walk more than four dogs at a time, and aren't allowed to meet with other visitors which would lead to more than eight dogs being in the same group.

They're also telling walkers to keep to the main paths with their dogs - so that wildlife and vegetation isn't disturbed.

According to the new Code Of Conduct, walkers should also observe all signs, pick up dog waste and always be prepared to shorten the lead length or put the dog back on a lead when needed

Professional dog walking companies have to get a permit from the 31st March - that permit will allow them to operate in the park, Swinley Forest and Buttersteep forest.
