More arrests in Reading murder investigation

Police have given an update on a murder investiagtion in Reading.
The teenage boy who was arrested on Saturday (23/5) has been released from custody and is on police bail.
Two further arrests have been made; one teenage boy from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday (24/5) and remains in police custody at this time.
A second teenage boy from High Wycombe has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on Sunday (24/5) and has been released on police bail.
Muhammad Noor Majid Butt was stabbed to death in Lower earley on Saturday.
Yesterday his family paid tribute to him:
“Our family is heartbroken by the loss of our beloved son.
“He was a kind, loving soul who always put others before himself and touched the lives of so many with his compassion and warmth.
“We ask for privacy and prayers as we grieve this unimaginable loss and honour his memory.”
