Motorcyclist seriously injured in Andover collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision which left a motorcyclist injured in Andover

It happened just after 6.45pm yesterday (18 October), with officers called to reports of a collision on the northbound carriageway of the A343 Salisbury Road, between Abbotts Ann and Kentsboro.

It involved a black Audi S4 and a beige Honda CBR motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a 32-year-old man from Bracknell, suffered a serious arm injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The road was closed while emergency services cleared the scene, and police have thanked motorists who were caught in the delays for their patience.
