A man has been jailed for more than three-and-a-half years after officers seized heroin, crack cocaine and more than £1,110 in cash in Farnborough.
Officers attended an address on Birchett Road during County Lines Intensification Week on 25 June following reports of drug-related activity.
Nhunga Damiao, 32, of Wrotham Road, Welling, was found asleep inside the address, and due to suspicious circumstances, officers carried out a search.
They located 40 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine and more than £1,110 in cash. All items were seized.
Damiao was arrested and later charged with:
Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A x 2
Acquiring / using / possessing criminal property
He pleaded guilty to all offences and was jailed for three years and nine months at Winchester Crown Court on 7 August.
Detective Sergeant Dan Lucas, from the Northern Area Crime Team, said: “Nhunga Damiao was caught with a significant amount of drugs and cash following a proactive search in Farnborough during County Lines Intensification Week.
“He was later charged with drugs offences and will now spend a considerable time behind bars for dealing drugs in our area.
“I hope this sentence highlights that our officers will do everything in their power to ensure Rushmoor is not targeted by drugs networks.
“We know that drug supply causes harm and misery to our communities and is linked to acquisitive crime, as well as some of the most serious violence we see.
“We are determined to keep relentlessly pursuing criminals to reduce the negative impact they have on the local community, making it safe for everyone.”
