Man jailed for possession with intent to supply class A drugs in Reading
He has been jailed
A Reading drug dealer has been jailed after telling police his dealing records were just his scores from a video game.
Forty-one-year-old Jamie Flitter claimed two suspected tick lists were tallies from Mortal Kombat - but officers had already found fifteen wraps of crack and heroin stashed around his neck.
He's been jailed for four and a half years.
Investigating officer, PC Christopher Boylan of the Reading Neighbourhood Disruption team, said: “We do not tolerate drug supply in Reading and I hope Jamie Flitter’s sentencing acts as a deterrent to other drug dealers.
“Our team will target and prosecute offenders and our activity will be both visible and covert aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders involved in the supply of drugs.
“The information from the public around the drug supply offences in Reading plays an important role in developing intelligence into a proactive investigation.
“If you have any information we would encourage you to report it to us by calling 101 or through the online reporting on our website.”
