A man will appear in court charged with racially aggravated assault after a Jewish man was attacked in a residential street in Slough.

Shafiq Rahman, 48, of Lismore Park, Slough, will appear before Reading Magistrates’ Court on this afternoon.

Thames Valley Police say he has been charged with racially or religiously aggravated common assault, and fear or provocation of violence by words and criminal damage.
