Man hospitalised after assault in Reading
Thames Valley Police are searching for a key witness to come forward after a man in his 50s was robbed and assaulted in Reading
The man was threatened with a screwdriver and attacked near the Morrisons Daily on Wensley Road.
He was taken to hospital with injuries, where he currently remains.
The offender is described as a white man in his late forties with brown hair.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Lewis Macauley, said: “We are very keen to speak to the member of public who witnessed this as part of our investigation.
