Murder investigation underway following death of man in Bracknell
Three men have been arrested
Thames Valley Police has launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a deceased man in Bracknell.
Officers were called to Market Street in Bracknell around 11.40am on 26th April, where they found the body of a man in his 30s.
His next of kin have been notified, but formal identification and post-mortem examinations have yet to be completed.
A police scene watch is in place at Gowring House service yard in Bracknell town centre and is expected to remain for an extended period.
Three men, aged 35, 27, and 33, all from Bracknell, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and assault by beating.
They are currently in police custody.
Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown, Head of the Major Crime Unit, expressed his condolences to the deceased man's family and reassured the public about the progress of the investigation.
"We are in the early stages of a complex investigation, and we are following several lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances around the murder," Brown said.
He informed that there would be an increased police presence in the area and encouraged residents with any concerns to speak to uniformed officers.
Brown also urged the public not to engage in speculation on social media and requested anyone with information to contact the police.
