Police launch appeal after man found 'crawling along the street' in Langley following assault

The man remains in hospital with serious injuries

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Langley.

Between 10pm and midnight on Sunday (22/6), a man was found with serious head injuries on A4 London Road, near to Kedermister Park, Slough.

The man, who is aged in his fifties, was discovered conscious but confused and crawling along the street.

The man has been taken to hospital where he remains at this time.

Investigating officer Detective Constable William Holbrook, said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this assault in Langley.

“It is currently not known what the cause of the victim’s injuries are and so we ask anyone who may have information to please contact the force.

“If you have CCTV cameras or a video doorbell in those areas, or if you were driving in the area with a dash-cam, please check your recordings between 10pm and midnight on Sunday in case they have captured something that could support our investigation.

“Anyone with information should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43250314605.

“Alternatively provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
