Man charged following knife threats and property damage in Tadley

The 29-year-old faces multiple charges after incidents on Priors Road and Almswood Road

A 29-year-old man has been charged with several offences after a series of threatening incidents occurred on Tuesday night in Tadley.

The police intervened following reports of a man wielding a large knife and making threats on Priors Road at 10.38pm.

Additional reports indicated that a front door, doorbell, and glass panel were damaged with a large knife on Almswood Road.

Authorities made an arrest nearby, seizing a large knife from the property.

During the arrest, officers reported experiencing threats and racial abuse.

Liam Farmer, from Stanfield, Tadley, is facing multiple charges, including making threats to kill, possessing a knife in a public area, and causing property damage.

He is also charged with using violence to secure entry to premises, using threatening or abusive language, and racially aggravated provocation.

Farmer is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on 11th June.
