Man arrested in Basingstoke after police chase involving stolen van
A man has been charged with driving dangerously on the M3, A30 and through parts of Basingstoke.
The driver of a stolen Mercedes Sprinter van failed to stop for officers on the M27 on Wednesday 20 May.
He was arrested following a police pursuit on the northbound M3, where the van collided with a property on Linseed Way in Basingstoke.
Nathan Moroncini, 30, of no fixed abode, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit and failing to provide specimen for analysis.
He has also been charged with aggravated vehicle taking after a Vauxhall Vivaro van was stolen from Knight Street in Basingstoke on 12 May.
