Maidenhead United has announced a one-off collaboration with Juventus FC ahead of Non-League Day 2026 later this month.

The Serie A outfit will be supporting United for the club's 'Football for a Fiver' fixture against Weston-super-Mare on Saturday, 28 March during the international break.

Juventus chose to support the Magpies for Non-League Day due to the similarity between the two sides’ iconic kits. Both clubs have worn black and white for more than 100 years, with The Old Lady adopting their famous stripes in 1901. Juventus originally wore pink shirts with a black tie, but switched to black and white in December of that year. The Magpies, meanwhile, trace their black and white history back to 1919 following the merger of Maidenhead FC and Maidenhead Norfolkians.

As part of their support, Juventus will send over a home shirt which will be framed and displayed by Maidenhead United for many years to come.

Juventus supporters are also among those invited to York Road for the occasion, with entry to the fixture available from just £1 for Under 17s as part of the club's Football for a Fiver initiative.

Grateful

Shay Bottomley, Marketing and Media Manager, said: “We’re very grateful to Juventus for their backing ahead of Non-League Day.

“Juventus fans are renowned for their fantastic vocal support, so I’m sure they’ll fit right in with the Magpies at York Road.

“It’s shaping up to be a brilliant celebration of Non-League football.”
