Police impose Dispersal Order in Lower Caversham
It folllows reports of disorder in the surrounding area
A Section 34 Dispersal Order will come into effect in Lower Caversham and surrounding areas from 8:45pm after reports of disorderly behaviour by large groups.
The affected zones include Henley Road, extending south towards the River Thames and the vicinity of Isis Water Ski Club.
The order grants police powers to disperse individuals or groups engaging in public disorder or causing a nuisance.
Anyone dispersed under this order who refuses to comply or returns to the area while the order is active risks arrest.
The order is valid until 8.45 pm tomorrow, with the possibility of an extension if required.
Police presence remains in the area for the duration of the order.
Authorities urge the public to comply with the order to avoid the risk of arrest.
