Investigation launched by police after man dies

An investigation has been launched following an incident in which a man has sadly died in Slough.

Officers were called to Furnival Avenue in Slough at just before 4.20pm on Thursday and located a man aged in his thirties with injuries.

Lead investigator Detective Inspector Liam Butler, based at Slough police station, said: “The circumstances of this sad incident are not yet ascertained, and as such, we are investigating on behalf of the Coroner. The death is being treated as unexplained at this time.

“Although formal identification has not been confirmed, the man’s next of kin are aware, and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
