Searches in Buckinghamshire uncover remains in ongoing police inquiry

Thames Valley Police have discovered human remains during searches linked to the murder investigation of Andrzej Mucha, who went missing in Slough in 2021.

The investigation into Andrzej Mucha’s disappearance, initially treated as a missing person inquiry, transformed into a murder investigation after he was last in contact with his family on 29th November 2021. He was reported missing on 30th December 2021.

Detective Superintendent Andy Howard confirmed that the remains were found during searches in a field on Grays Park Road, Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire starting on 3rd February.

The remains have been recovered, and efforts to formally identify them and ascertain the cause of death through a post mortem will take place soon.

Andrzej’s family is receiving support and updates on the investigation's progress.
