Horse rider seriously injured in collision near Reading
Scrambler bikes collided with the rider at Sonning Common
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a horse rider was seriously injured in a collision at Sonning Common north of Reading.
Between 5.45pm and 6pm on Thursday (25/9), a collision occurred involving a horse rider and three scrambler motorbikes on a public bridleway between Devil’s Hill and Harpsden Road, involving a horse rider and three scrambler motorbikes.
A woman in her forties sustained serious injuries and has since been discharged from hospital.

Investigating officer PC Ben Rowlands, of the Roads Policing Unit, said:
“We are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a collision in which a horse rider was seriously injured.
