As students open their GCSE results this morning, the day can be filled with anxiety and nerves.

We're hearing advice from a Hampshire mental health charity.

Alice Mooney's Director of Services at the No Limits charity.

She said: "We've got lots of self-help and advice on our websites and we've got calming techniques, as well as ways of doing things like mindfulness and box breathing, and things like that will help.

"We support young people to create self-soothe boxes so they can go through the things that are in the box to help bring them back down and feel calm.

"This might be something they read, they listen to or they touch or maybe even something they can smell."

Ms Mooney also said it's important to access support if students feel as though they need it, whether this is talking to carers, teachers, a trusted adult, or support services.
