Four charged over Odiham violent disorder incident

Police have been investigating since a clash between two groups in October 2023

Four men have been charged with violent disorder following a public order incident in Odiham.

Police were called on Sunday 8 October 2023 to reports of a disturbance involving two groups of people at a site off the A287 Farnham Road, near the Chalky Lane junction. A man suffered a head injury.

Officers carried out extensive enquiries and following the issue of a postal requisition, four men are due to face charges when they appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday 29 April.

They are:

Mark Collier, 26, of Farnham Road, Odiham – Violent disorder and driving a motor vehicle dangerously

Paul Collier, 26, of Farnham Road, Odiham – Violent disorder

Jimmy Jones, 22, of Carters Hill Park, near Binfield – Violent disorder

Cliff Clarke, 23, of Carters Hill Park, near Binfield – Violent disorder

Six other men, who were arrested in connection with the incident, have been released and will face no further action.
