Two men arrested in Bracknell after firearm recovered

Police say there's no wider danger to the public

Thames Valley Police officers have arrested two men following a firearms warrant in Bracknell.

At 8.05am on Thursday (18/12), officers carried out a warrant at a property in Trevelyan under section 46 of the Firearms Act 1968.

Two men have been arrested, aged 62 and 30, on suspicion for possession of a firearm.

Police believe there is no wider threat to the public.

A spokesperson said:

"There will be officers in the area as we carry out investigative work, and our Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out reassurance patrols."
