Man in his 80's dies after crash on A4 near Speen
Police are appealing for witnesses
Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a tragic road traffic collision on the A4 near Speen, Berkshire.
The incident occurred at around 8.50am on Saturday, 2nd May, involving a light-blue BMW 1 Series and a blue Kia Venga at the junction with Milkhouse Road.
Sadly, a man in his eighties who suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision has since passed away.
Investigating officer PC Alex Jarratt expressed condolences to the bereaved family, stating, "Firstly, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family of the man who died following this collision. Our thoughts are with them at what will be an extremely difficult time."
PC Jarratt urged anyone who has witnessed the collision or has information about the moments leading up to it to come forward.
He also appealed to drivers equipped with dash-cams to check for footage that might aid the investigation.
