Police release e-fit image in Reading sexual assaults investigation

Thames Valley Police is releasing an e-fit image depicting a man who officers would like to speak to in connection with a sexual assault investigation in Reading.
Officers say on Wednesday 24 June 2026, at around 8.11am, a man approached a woman on Oxford Road, outside McDonalds, and inappropriately touched her over her clothing.
Around 15 minutes later, the same man approached a woman on Castle Hill, outside Lightbox and inappropriately touched her over her clothing.
It is reported the suspect was wearing black shorts, a black top and had a black backpack. You can see the e-fit image below.
Investigating officer PC Jacques Mitchell said:
"I am releasing this e-fit image and would ask anybody who believes that they recognise the man depicted, or who believes they witnessed this incident to please get in contact with us.
"You can make a report online, or by calling 101, quoting reference 43260318028 for the incident on Oxford Road and reference 43260319967 for the incident on Castle Hill.
“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
