Man arrested after officers find drugs in Basingstoke
Officers found and seized multiple bags of suspected Class A drugs, as well as cannabis
A man has been arrested after officers located multiple bags of suspected Class A drugs following a search at a Basingstoke property yesterday.
Hampshire Police officers were carrying out enquiries at an address on Holland Road at around 12pm on Thursday 20 August.
They spoke with a man inside a property, and due to circumstances at the scene, a bag was searched.
Officers found and seized multiple bags of suspected Class A drugs, as well as cannabis.
A 38-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A x 2 and possessing a controlled drug of Class B.
He has been bailed to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
