Man remanded in custody charged with drugs supply in Basingstoke
Police stopped a car which was suspicious
A man has appeared in court charged with drugs supply following a stop and search in Basingstoke.
Gerald Hoxha, 25, from The Avenue, Worcester Park, Surrey has been charged with the following offences:
Being in possession / control of identity documents with intent
Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine)
Assault by beating of an emergency worker
Acquire / use / possess criminal property
Drive a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence
No insurance
It comes after officers stopped a car on Holbein Close having seen it being driven in a suspicious manner on Black Dam Way.
Officers searched the car and found a quantity of suspected Class A drugs and cash.
Hoxha appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court yesterday was remanded to next appear at Winchester Crown Court on Thursday, 9 March.
