Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was killed in a collision in Bradfield, West Berkshire.
It happened at around 2.20am today (29 July), on an unnamed road, between Bradfield and the A340, near Bradfield College.
Police said a red Volkswagen Lupo was involved in the single-vehicle collision. The driver, a 17-year-old boy, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Investigating officer PS Rob Oliver-Clayson, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the young man who has sadly died in this collision.
“We are carrying out a thorough investigation into the circumstances and are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or the moments leading up to it, to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who was driving in the area around Bradfield College, the A340, or the surrounding road network in the early hours of this morning and may have dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries.
