Cyclist breaks neck in collison with car in Bracknell

Police are appealing for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision on the A322 on Bagshot Road in Bracknell.

At approximately 6.09am on Tuesday 1 April, a red Vauxhall Corsa and a cyclist have collided with one another.

The cyclist, a man in his forties, sustained a fractured neck and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition at this time.

No arrests have been made.

Investigating officer PC Michael Nowacki, of the Roads Policing unit, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this collision.

“I am appealing to anybody who was driving in the area and may have dash-cam, to please check this and contact Thames Valley Police if it has captured anything that may assist this investigation.
