Police investigate attacks in central Reading

They want information on three cars seen in the area after 'a group of men' attacked several people

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a grievous bodily harm (GBH) incident in Reading.

At around 3.45am on Sunday (23/11), several people were assaulted by a group of men and one of the victims, a man in his twenties, received GBH level injuries on Simmonds Street.

The victim sustained serious injuries and required hospital treatment. He remains in hospital.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Malcolm Miller said: “I am appealing to anyone that may have witnessed this incident, has information or has CCTV footage that may help us, to please get in touch.

“I am also appealing for anyone that may have seen a dark coloured Volvo XC40, a light-coloured Ford Fiesta and a light-coloured saloon Audi leaving the area that can assist our enquiries.”
