Officers investigating a report of shoplifting in Basingstoke have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to.

Police received a report that hard drives and other electrical items worth more than £500 had been stolen from Currys in St Michael’s Retail Park at around 2pm on 12 May.

Since this was reported,, officers have been carrying out several enquiries and can now issue images of two men they would like to speak to.

They have been described as white, 6ft 1ins tall, both wearing baseball caps, blue jeans and black shoes. One was wearing a long coat while the other was wearing a long gilet.

Officers believe the men in these images can help them with their investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch.
