Thames Valley Police have released CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to in connection with a suspected arson at the Atrium Health Club in Reading.
Two individuals reportedly forced entry into the gym located on Scours Lane at approximately 2.40am on Friday 30th January.
They poured fire accelerant on the floor before setting the gym area on fire, according to police.
No injuries were reported following the incident.
Detective Constable Johanna Grant is urging anyone who can identify the individuals seen in the CCTV images to assist with the investigation.
Atrium Health Club re-opens
The independent gym reopened to members on 21 February after a 'tough few weeks' and an intensive recovery effort.
When the gym asked for help repainting, the local community responded and over a single weekend, more than 150 volunteers arrived to help.
Atrium Director Josh Baines said when they first got the call they were worried their whole business might be gone.
He's been blown away by the support they have received:
"We really would be missed if we weren't here and we hope to never not be here ever again."
