Police are appealing for information and witnesses following recent reports of car fires in Hook.

Since Friday 1 November, we have received reports that six vehicles had been set on fire in the village.

Police received reports that:

A Peugeot had been set on fire on Holt Way between 2am and 3am on Monday 2 December (44240523977).

Two Fiat 500s had been set on fire on Redes Close between 2am and 3am on Monday 2 December (44240524030 / 44240524036).

Three cars, a BMW I3, Fiat 500 and a Mini Cooper had been set on fire on Station Road between 4.35am and 4.50am on Friday 1 November (44240475309).

No injuries have been reported. After receiving these reports, Police say they've been carrying out extensive enquiries and extra patrols in the area.

Recently nine cars have been set on fire in the west of Basingstoke but Hampshire Police say they have no evidence to connect them to the Hook fires.
